DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES
ACHIEVING GROWTH
PROGRAMS
We have developed several vital programs, designed to impact education, economic, political and health awareness of the lives of black women and their families.
EVENTS
Our meetings provide food for thought and encourage attendees to consider issues like women running for political office; race and women of color; and economic challenges. We also hold annual health fairs and provide free information and services to the community.
MEMBERSHIP
The Northern Virginia Chapter, charted with 35 members on January 22, 1984, under the leadership of Ms. Evelyn Reid Syphax, is committed to improving the quality of life of Black women, their families, and their communities.
BUY BLACK MARKETPLACE
During the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW) 2019 Biennial Conference, the NCBW members resolved to create a National Entrepreneur Week and a National Buy Black Day to show our appreciation for black entrepreneurs in our communities and begin a practice of seeking goods and services from them first.
